Welcome to the
Paisley Seventh Day Adventist Church

The Paisley church was established in January 2009 and is part of a world-wide church of more than 15 million members. As our name suggests, we observe the Seventh-day Sabbath as a memorial of God's Creation. If you would like to learn more about the Seventh-day Adventist Church go to adventist.org.uk/.

We are blessed and pleased to share the facilities with fellow Christians in the Town's Christian Growth Centre. Our Worship Service at 11.15 am is preceded each week by a period of Bible Study at 10 am. There is an Afternoon Programme at 2 pm.

"Elsewhere on this site you will find details of upcoming events, news, departmental activities - and a gallery of recent events".

This Week's Lesson

God as Redeemer
Memory Text:
" 'Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!' "
(Rev. 5:12, NKJV).

From the earliest pages of Genesis, the Bible points us to the death of Christ on the cross, where He would die a sinner's death in order to redeem us, as sinners, from the eternal destruction that sin brings. Though the Bible uses different symbols and metaphors to explain Christ's death, at the center of it all is His substitution, so graphically expressed in Isaiah 53. If we ever needed proof that works couldn't save us, we have it with the death of God Himself on the cross. After all, what could fallen beings ever add to that?
